This year, World Wide Sires celebrates its 50th anniversary. Established by the Californian Holstein breeder and entrepreneur Bill Clark in 1971, WWS has been the international representative for all American AI cooperatives. Today WWS, as a subsidiary of Select Sires, markets all Select Sires, Accelerated, and Genervations sires in all countries outside of the US and Mexico. In addition to being a global supplier of famous genetics in the 21st century, WWS has notably developed into a service provider for dairy farmers. WWS’ training institute Global Dairy Solutions in the American state of Washington is a successful example of this.
