The recent Italian April release once again brought the Zani prefix into the forefront. The index list for cows is led by Zani Bandares Mony and Zani Sound System Nora. The index list for DNA sires is led by Zani Stradivari (a son of Nora), with Zani Patek in 5th place. They all originate from the impressive Pawnee family – the family that for generations already has consistently provided outstanding performances in this Italian breeding herd. Time for an extensive portrait of this Chairman daughter and her more than 1100 (!) descendants.
