’Why have AI companies not made more intensive use of outcross sires?’ This is one of the questions sent to HI by the Czech herd manager Jiří Fangl. Questions that HI’s editorial staff also found interesting, but were not able to answer, of course. For that reason, HI invited breeding analysts from four AI companies to respond to Fangl’s questions. These breeding analysts represent the AI companies that are the owners of sires that Fangl mentions in his questions. In this article, Fangl’s questions are answered.
