Polled breeding and the goal of bringing the polled segment to the peak of the conventional top lists are among the main tasks that breeding programs around the world are working on. The motivation for this lies in the steadily increasing demand for polled sires, with the homozygous polled sector standing in the spotlight. As such, the following pages will focus on the bull dams that are chiefly responsible for the direction in which polled breeding, and particularly the PP sector, are currently developing.
