In HI’s November issue, you could read about the selection of Marathon as the 2017 Outcross Sire. Notable: his half-brother Moyrath also ended up deservingly in the top-5. Both young French bulls combine very high indexes with uncommon pedigrees. This turns out not to be coincidental; in its breeding program, owner Evolution purposefully strives for necessary pedigree variation. A goal that the Mack daughter BZH Joycie, as evident from her sons Marathon and Moyrath, has helped them realize like no other.
