Never before has interest in a competition during HI’s 25 years been as great as it is in the unique breeder competition that was introduced in HI’s January edition 2019. First, one hundred breeders were nominated from fourteen different countries. This was followed by voting in large numbers by HI readers – who do they consider to be the most influential breeders of the past 25 years? The results were clear, and started with the countdown in March: each month we feature one herd from the top-10, ending with the nr.1 in December 2019. Now it is time for nr.7: Braedale Farm in eastern Ontario. And one immediately makes the connection of Braedale with: Goldwyn!
